Jazz Music and Other Things

Every time I look for some news about jazz music I always come across other things like cars and basketball. That proves that Jazz is really famous not only in music but also in basketball because of the team Utah Jazz and in cars because of the famous car Honda Jazz. And that is not all! While I was doing this entry I searched more about the word ‘jazz’ and found out that there is an airline that’s named Air Canada Jazz and then there is also a film entitled Jazz. Whew! There is too much ‘jazz’ in the world.

I was actually browsing the net for random things and then I came across some trivia and facts about jazz music. I know jazz music lovers know a lot more than I do but if you are just starting to know more about jazz music it is worth to go back to the basics like its history and some of the artists known for this genre. Knowing some trivia can be fun too. So if you are as enthusiastic as I am on knowing some facts on jazz music, you can visit hubpages.com and get as much information as you can. However, if you are a jazz addict wanting to see how much of jazz music you really know, you can try funtrivia.com.

A Lot More to Know…

without comments

I was thinking that maybe I need to learn a lot more things about jazz. The truth is I am not really a fan of the music genre. I just happen to know some and those some, I like. But right now, I’m kind of feeling that there is more to jazz music than the things that I know and the things that I hear. Though our world today is very dominated by the pop music scene I guess it still pays to go back to the original music, the music that was loved and is still loved by our parents and grandparents. I can actually hear my parents and other relatives sometimes talking about the type of music that they have back then. And hearing such things make me want to go back too and learn more about it.

What a Wonderful World

What a wonderful world is actually one of my favorite jazz songs ever. I love the way Louis Armstrong sang it, very sweet and mild. And the huskiness of his voice suits the melody and the instruments in the background. My heart feels so warm right now just thinking about this song, its melody and lyrics. And though I am not actually listening to it right now, I can hear it playing. I can hear Louis Armstrong’s great and cold voice, singing each word with perfection and feelings.

It’s a good thing that this song has so much positivity in it. Maybe that is the reason I like it that much. It is so full of positive thoughts and it says how wonderful our world really is.

Saxophone Syndrome

without comments

Why is it that all I ever remember when I hear jazz music is a saxophone? It is maybe because I have incorporated it with jazz music ever since I was young. I don’t actually know why but that’s all I can think of about jazz music. But when I think of it, it is not really disturbing after all because I actually love the sound of the saxophone. I personally think that it produces a unique sound that can be identified as its own. I also find its music as very sweet to the ears and very relaxing. I can actually fall asleep to Kenny G’s music.

Now, I’m really having this saxophone syndrome. All I can picture in my mind right now is the saxophone and the music that I hear, Kenny G music.
